Komododon Unique Anims


Please review Komododon's design page for general animation styles, and ability overview.

  •  _Weapon_Fire (looping)
Classic Mouth-open, leaning-forward fire pose.  Let claw hands still be slightly up, as though maybe Komododon is grasping a table as he fires?
  • _Weapon_Build_Up
Head curling back slightly, and arms coming in close to the body.  Keep lower torso in idle position, so that this layers well with movement.
  • _Chain_Basic : Jab_Right
  • _Chain_Basic_2 : Jab_Left
  • _Quick_Basic : Jaw_Snap
Bite at mid-height with small step forward and quick recovery.
  • _Fierce_Basic : Tail Spin
Full 360 spin (tiny hop for footwork, but not for height)
  • _Chain_Away : Thrust Kick
Pull up one foot, and thrust it forward with a bit of slide for range.
  • _Chain_Down : Uppercut
Classic uppercut with big step-through
  • _Chain_Toward : Uncrossing Swipes
Arms snapped crossed, then uncross with claws out with step-through and roar
  • _Chain_Up : Twohanded Hit
Both fists come down to hit around midsection-height  (for downed opponents).  Medium range, and not TOO heavy.
  • _Quick_Away : Hop Kick
Hop back a monster length with one foot out to intercept strikes.
  • _Quick_Down : Stomp
Quick step-through to Stomp an opponent's foot.  (Right foot stomping, since opponent's left will be forward usually.)
  • _Quick_Toward : Double Snap
Two bite attacks with decent forward motion on each.
  • _Quick_Up : Hop Swipe
Anti-air move.  Hop up to intercept a diving opponent.  Should miss opponents standing in front of you.
  • _Fierce_Away : Doublefoot Kick
Classic jump forward with two feet kicking.
  • _Fierce_Down : Launcher
Crouch down low, then rise up with both hands, like Hulk ripping up the sidewalk.
  • _Fierce_Toward : Tail Flip Forward
Full front flip, with the tail coming down HARD.  Strikes airborne or prone opponents equally well.  Nice long recovery, as this will have great range.
  • _Fierce_Up : Twohanded Crush
Similar to the "Twohanded Hit" - but this time a full leap into the air, and come down into a duck positio with both hands striking the ground out in front.
  • _Power_Away : Faceblast
Take a step back, lean back, and open mouth for ~ 3/4 of a second.  This is a short-range attack meant to stop charging opponents.  Think Yoga Flame.
  • _Power_Down : Tankkiller
Head sweeps left to right - pointing at the ground about 100m in front - as if killing a line of tanks.
  • _Power_Toward : Quickfire
Lean forward and give a brief firing pose.  For a fireball-like projectile.
  • _Power_Up : Trailburner
Point the head down so the weapon starts near your own feet, then whip the head up at a medium pace to burn a line down the street in front of you.
